    Dr. Nayef Nahar Al-Shammari, Director of the Ibn Khaldon Center for Humanities and Social Sciences at Qatar University. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Islamic Studies from Qatar University in 2008. He obtained a Master’s degree in Jurisprudence and Fundamentals with Distinction in 2011 from the International Islamic University in Malaysia. He obtained a PhD from the same university in jurisprudence and its fundamentals with distinction as well in 2014, and the thesis in both degrees were related to Islamic banking. Dr. Nayef bin Nahar also received another doctorate in 2018 in the field of political science from the International Islamic University in Malaysia, and the thesis was on the subject of fixed and variable in the democratic system. Dr. Nayef bin Nahar has seven books in various fields of knowledge, including: “Islamic Banking in the State of Qatar”, “Introduction to International Relations”, “Democracy as it is” and “The Logical Correlation Suit between Islam and Secularism”. He has about ten research papers in various scientific journals, including "Moral Induction by Shatby: Critical Study" and "Legal Mechanisms to Form the Capital of Islamic Branches" and "Towards a Proposed Methodology for Establishing the Science of Westernization." Dr. Nayef presented a new theory in the science of international relations called the "Deterrent Arm" and acquired its intellectual property on the seventh of February 2016.
