Vision
The central laboratories unit (CLU) was established in the year 2004 as amalgamation of two labs: the chemical analysis lab and the electron microscopy lab, which belonged to the chemistry and biology department, respectively. Currently, the CLU is associated with and supervised by the VP for research offering service to all scientific departments in Qatar University in addition to private and governmental agencies.
Mission
To provide analytical and technical support and consultancy to serve efficiently the research activities and testing needs. Also, optimize and upgrade the practical performance of technical staff and students and provide hand on experience on using the analytical instruments in Qatar University
