About the Program

Post-Graduate programs in Biomedical Sciences

Biomedical Scientists who possess a Master’s and PhD degree are a critical and a fundamental component of the skilled national workforce as outlined in QNV 2030. The post graduate porgrams of Biomedical Science has been benchmarked against comparable programs in the U.S. and was designed based on the manpower needs and competencies of the workforce due to increasing healthcare service advancements in Qatar. 

This courses of study will provide students the knowledge and technical skills needed to become medical laboratory and biomedical research professionals in Qatar. High quality faculty contribute significantly to the instructional and research needs of the program. A balanced mix of theory and application is one of the strengths of these programs.

Master Programs:

• Master of Biomedical Science (2 Tracks):

1. 1. MSc Advanced Clinical Practice with Thesis.
   2. MSc in Biomedical Laboratory Management with Project.

• Master of Sciences (MSc) in Genetic Counselling.

Cerificate Programs:

• Graduate Certificate in Biomedical Sciences (Advanced Clinical Practice)
• Graduate Certificate in Biomedical Sciences (Laboratory Management)

PhD Programs:

• PhD in health Sciences (QU-Health)
