The CHSSA is established solely in the interest of CHS students and is a key mechanism with the intent of serving students’ needs in totality—ranging from academic to socio-cultural.
CHSSA STATEMENT OF PURPOSE, MISSION, GOALS, & CORE VALUES
PURPOSE
The purpose of the CHS Students Association is to provide a definitive forum to facilitate the enhancement of students’ well-being and quality of life in a holistic sense.
MISSION
The mission of the CHSSA is to promote social and intellectual mutuality among its members, encourage scientific exploration, cultivate professional skills and competence, and enhance the prestige and overall standing of health-related professionals.
GOALS
Several goals of the CHSSA have been identified and are outlined as follows:
- To broaden the educational, cultural, and social experiences of students.
- To integrate student activities into the larger mission of CHS.
- To provide leadership and community-service opportunities to CHS students.
- To facilitate more effective communication between CHS students and faculty
- To enhance students overall academic experience by providing varied supplemental learning activities sponsored by the Student Association.
- To provide students with a means of easy access to the functions and affairs of the CHS.
