    Transfer policy


    The college of health Sciences will accept transfer students based on the below requirements:


    Major Program

    Admission Criteria

    Biomedical Sciences

    Must be Medicine, Dental or Pharmacy students

    • GPA 2.00 and above
    • Pass a minimum of 16 Credit Hours including :
      • CHEM 101/103
      • MEDI 101
      • PUBH151
      • MEDI 102

    Human Nutrition

    Public Health

    Physical Therapy

    General Health

    FEMALE 

    Open for non-health cluster students (from other colleges even from Arts and Technical tracks)

    • Minimum GPA is 3.00 and above.
    • Total credit hours preferable not more than 33CHs.
    • Complete at least two science courses from the below list with minimum grade B: (BIOL 101,BIOL 110, MATH 101, MATH 103, STAT 101, STAT 220, STAT 151, and CHEM 101/103)





    MALE

    Open for non-health cluster students (from other colleges)


    High school score: 90% and above (Science Track only).

    English efficiency: IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 61.

    Math competency: SAT 530, ACT 21, QU-Placer Math 200, or pass MATH 021.

    Undergraduate courses: pass CHEM 101 with a minimum score of C.​







    T​he selection will be competitive and limited to the capacity of each program, so the higher the score is, the greater the opportunity for being accepted.

    Minor Program

    Admision Criteria

    Food Safety Minor Program- Department of Human Nutrition

    Open to QU Female registered students

    • A minimum score of 5.5 in IELTS OR A minimum score of 61 in TOEFL OR ACCUPLACER ESL
    • The students should have one basic chemistry course (from the core or part of the major courses)
    • The language of instruction is English

    Minor in Public Health- Department of Public Health

    Open to QU Female registered students

    • Students registered in the Public Health major cannot take this minor.
    • A minimum score of 5.5 in IELTS OR A minimum score of 61 in TOEFL OR ACCUPLACER ESL
    • The language of instruction is English

    Acceptance depends on student academic performance depending on the department's capacity.
