The minor in Minor in Nutrition, is an 18CH program, which provides students with knowledge of nutritional biochemistry, digestion, absorption and metabolism. Students will have opportunities to examine the role of nutrition throughout the life cycle, as well as study of the social and economic influences on nutrition. The minor also introduces student to food science and its applications in food industry.
Students seeking a minor in Nutrition must complete a minimum of 18 CH including the following:
- A minimum of 9 CH in Minor requirements.
- A minimum of 9 CH in Minor electives.
