The Institutional Data and Policy Management unit oversees the university-wide data management process, as well as the development and validation of institutional policies and procedures.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Oversees the development and implementation of a university-wide data governance framework.
- Increases the awareness of data management principles and practices across the university.
- Facilitates the development, review, and validation of institutional policies and process guidelines, in collaboration with the Office of Legal Counsel.
- Establishes and maintains a digital repository for institutional policies and guidelines.
- Maintains a university policy website to ensure proper communication and dissemination of institutional policies and guidelines across the university.
- Supports the University Policies Committee in the periodic review and validation of institutional policies and guidelines.
