In order to be eligible for the English Language Program, a candidate needs to:
- be a Qatari national
- be a Qatar University Teaching Assistant
- submit to the Scholarships Office an acceptance letter from one of the Language Programs listed on this website
- submit a Bachelor degree transcript
- submit a nomination or approval letter from the Qatar University College/Department
- complete and submit the personal information sheet [please refer to Forms page on this website]
- submit a course invoice [that includes the health insurance fee] from the English Language Course provider
- submit a copy of the economy class air ticket invoice
- submit a passport copy
- submit a copy of Qatar National ID
To assist the Language student, Qatar University provides the following assistance:
- financial support letter addressed to the overseas Language Program
- support letter for a visa, if required
- coverage of economy class air fare and the tuition fees
- provision of health insurance
