In order to be elligible for the pre-contract sponsorship status, a candidate needs to:
- be a Qatari national
- provide Scholarships Office with:
- copy of Qatar ID
- two passport-sized photographs
- application form [see Forms page]
- have studied for at least 60 hours toward a BA degree
- submit a transcript of coursework up to current date
- have a GPA of not less than 3.0 on a 0.0 - 4.0 scale
- possess English language fluency
- if studying in Arabic, TOEFL score must be 500 or more or 5.5 on IELTS
- if studying in English, TOEFL score must be 550 or more or 6.5 on IELTS
- be nominated by the academic department and college
- successfully pass a Human Resources Committee interview
